I wonder your perspective on the idea that white sage should only be used by First Nations people with a historical connection to it historically?

    1. Hi Galaxy girl, thank you so much for reading.

I have written several times about cultural appropriation and plant relationships. Here is a link to that piece:

(this one specifically discusses the white sage debate in the larger context of cultural appropriation)

I’ve also written about the importance of sourcing plant based spiritual supplies:

  6. Thank you for this. 💚 my family has had two large losses recently. And, the idea of rosemary keeps coming up for me – in dreams and in synchronicity in-person (also what lead me to your blog). I’m looking forward to using this information to help with healing and getting in touch with loved ones.

    1. Hello Mandyjo, I’m glad this has helped you. Blessings to you and your family as you recover from the losses that you’ve had.

  7. While I enjoy the article, time does not heal all wounds. I say this ad a person that has dealt with complex bereavement and as a professional whom had treated many people dealing with grief and bereavement.

    1. Yes, time does not heal all wounds, but it certainly lessens their impact. Losing the love of your life hurts less in 10 years than it does the day after.

  8. Thank you for this. My best friend just lost her husband/soul mate. I found this for her and I’m writing this out for her. When she is ready she will do this ritual. Unfortunately I live in a different state

    1. Hi Alison, my condolences on your friend’s loss. I wrote this ritual after a similar loss of my own, so it should work very well for her.

  9. Greetings Friend and thank you. Am currently working through some inner child grief. It was recommended to celebrate with healing rituals. Being led to your garden was a gift and I am grateful 🫶

    1. Hello JB, glad you found the Druid’s Garden–please stay a while. I wish you blessings on your healing and grief work. <3
