  7. Dear Willowcrow — Equinox blessings to you as well. What a host of wonderful suggestions for sustainable actions sor the Spring season! My husband and I developed a practice of “pretending we were moving” at least once a year, which helped us stay on top of our excess accumulation. However, last year, we disassemble our home (and accumulation of 10 years together) and moved abroad, where we proceeded to accumulate many things we needed to sustain our new household. This year we are closing out that home and returning to the States — more letting go and more accumulation Stateside. HaHa! The dance of appearance and disappearance! In any case, I so appreciate your suggestions for foraging, creating sacred spaces, streamlining budgets and seeding plants — all welcome and appealing to my Taurus nature. ♥ Alia

    1. I really like that suggestion about “pretending you are moving” for a few reasons–it aids both with the clutter issue as well as deep cleaning (like behind furniture, under the bed, etc). I think we have such a tendency to accumulate stuff. Its really a problem. I’m literally looking at each piece of stuff in my life and asking if I need it!
